For the Glass Vessels (Pennsic 2009)

982 Dec 20th - was the first Documented Glassmaker in Venice (not eleven-something as I was saying.)

“Capitolare” is the proper spelling of the Ventian glassblowing rules and regulations document

1291 Nov 8 - when the Glassfurnances moved to Murano

Coreforming dates to roughly 1500 BC

Carthage was a Phoenician colony, but the punic wars ended before the accepted invention of Glassblowing. (I'm not really sure where I was going with that)

Archduke Ferdinand II of Austria was the one who started a glasshouse at Innsbruck, which imported Venetian Glassblowers (1570-1591) (Beyond Venice)
